Cookie policy

Last updated: 1 May 2026

The short version

TidyEstate uses session cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that capture personal data.

No cookie banner is needed for session-only cookies — they are strictly necessary for the service to function.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by websites you visit. They serve various purposes — from keeping you logged in to tracking your behaviour across the web.

Cookies we use

Cookies we do not use

  • Advertising or marketing cookies
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Social media pixels
  • Preference cookies (beyond authentication)

Analytics

If we use site analytics, we use a privacy-first provider (Plausible) that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Plausible is GDPR-compliant by design.

Managing cookies

Because we only use strictly necessary session cookies, you cannot opt out of them and continue to use TidyEstate’s logged-in features. If you want to remove the cookies, you can sign out of your account (which clears the session cookie) or clear cookies in your browser settings.

All major browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
  • Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Changes to this policy

If we start using additional cookies in future, we will update this policy and notify users where required by law.
